What does the buyer text?
The buyer texts the word "auto" then a space, then the last 6 digits of the VIN to the number 25827. You can try it by either using our online demo (here) or texting from your own mobile phone:

Does the buyer pay anything?
No. Just whatever their standard text messaging charges are from their carrier.
Does the buyer see my branding?
Yes, all of your vehicles have your logo and contact on their mobile page. You upload the logo file using our admin site.
Can the buyer see all of my vehicles?
Absolutely! We link all of your vehicles together so when they are done viewing one they can look at what else you have on your lot. You will be able to see their movements on the website, so before you call someone you can know exactly which vehicles they looked at.
How much does it cost?
It is free to setup an account and get us your information. You pay per lead received from one of your vehicles. During this beta period our packages vary so please contact us if you would like to help in our testing.
If the lead doesn't pan out, do I have to pay for it?
Yes. You sign a contract saying you will pay for every lead that comes in from one of your vehicles during that month - regardless of if it results in a sale.
Can I be charged if the same person texts for 2 vehicles?
Yes. Our leads are extremely qualified because they not only tell you someone is in the market for a used car, but exactly which one caught their eye enough to request more information on. Therefore, every person/vehicle interaction is considered a different lead. If, however, they only text for information once then click around on the website onto various vehicles, it will only count as 1 lead. Essentially, every text message is considered a lead.
Can I cap my monthly spend?
Unfortunately, no. Our costs associated with the act of text messaging require we receive payment for any and all text messages that come through our system.
How can I pay?
We require a valid credit card on file the entire time your lot is live. We will charge you on a monthly basis for leads collected the previous month and will email you a receipt.
Do I need to be a CARFAX subscriber?
Yes. You must hold an unlimited monthly account to use our service. We do not ask the potential buyer to pay for the report, we only show reports already purchased by the dealer.
Can I use your site to purchase the CARFAX report under my dealer account?
Yes. In the administration tool as soon as you add a VIN we will purchase the CARFAX report (if it hasn't been already) to ensure smooth sailing when a potential buyer requests it via text.
How much information do I have to provide per vehicle?
Just a VIN and price. We will use the VIN to extract data such as year, make, model, standard equipment, etc.
How do I add VINs?
We offer two ways - one is you can copy/paste up to 6 VINs at a time into our web form. The other way is we offer a batch upload. You use our admin site to upload a .CSV file with however many VINs you want in it and we will process that file and put the VINs into our database.
Can you connect directly to my inventory system?
At this moment, we cannot. However, we are working on ways to tap into various dealership software to make this possible so keep checking back. Until then, you will need to upload your VINs.
How do you know when we sold a vehicle?
You can either manually "turn off" a VIN using our admin site, or when you upload your batch file you can let us know that any VINs not in the file are to be turned off.
