Process:
- On ForSaleByTxt.com, seller fills out price, 50 character text description, and mobile URL where the
buyer can get more information.
- ForSaleByTxt.com gives seller instructions to place on For Sale sign.
- Buyer follows instructions on For Sale sign.
- Buyer gets price, 50 character description, and URL texted back to them.
- Buyer can go to seller's entered mobile URL for more information and contact info.
Who should use this listing:
- Sellers that already have their item listed on another mobile-friendly website and just want
a way to get that URL to sellers through texting.
- Sellers who are not interested in following up on potential interested buyers.
- Sellers who do not need the extra exposure of being included in the ForSaleByTxt.com search results.
What seller needs to sign up:
- Price
- 50 character description
- External website where buyer can click on for more information about listing as well as contact info
- Seller info
- Item's location
NOTES: - Seller must have a mobile-friendly website that shows the details and contact info for the
listing (i.e. craigslist ad, fsbo.com page, etc). ForSaleByTxt.com does not provide the web page
in a free listing, it just texts the URL the seller already has back to the buyer.
- Free listings do not appear in ForSaleByTxt.com searches
