ForSaleByTxt.com is referred to as both the "Company" and the "Site" throughout this document. The Company is committed to respecting your privacy and complying with all governmental laws and regulations. This document has been established to describe how your personal information will be coillected and used. Please read it carefully and feel free to email us at info@forsalebytxt.com with any questions or concerns.
This policy applies only to information collected directly on the Site, It does not affect information collected through any other means. The policy may change periodically. The Company notifies users of changes to this policy by modifying the "last revised" date at the beginning of this document. Please make a note of the date if you wish to follow any updates or changes. All information submitted directly to the Site via the Internet is governed by the privacy policy then in effect.

What information we collect and how?
We consider there to be two distinct types of data collected on ForSaleByTxt.com - personally identifiable data and aggregate data.
Personally identifiable data is any information that can be used to identify who you are. This could be name, address, email,
phone, etc. During checkout, if you have chosen a professional listing,
you will be passed to our secure third party reseller to complete your credit card transaction. This third party reseller is

is governed by their privacy policy and
terms of use.
Almost all personally identifiable data is collected using
online HTML forms - such as when you register as a user or list an item on the website. The only personally identifiable
information collected on the Site is the information a user voluntarily inputs or uploads to the Site, save one exception -
IP address. We reserve the right to store the IP address and/or Internet Service Provider the user is accessing the Site
from.
In addition to personally identifiable information, most pages also collect some form of aggregate data. This data cannot be used to identify an individual, but is rather for the purpose of tracking behaviors and statistics. This data may include page views, paths through sites, browsers being used, dates and times of access, keywords found from, etc. This data is collected using a combination of a third party analytics program as well as on-page custom code. As technologies evolve, we reserve the right to adopt other methods of collecting information as we see fit.
Please be aware that Company advertisers or web sites that have links on the Site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The Company does not share any such information with these advertisers or web sites. The information practices of those advertisers and web sites linked to by the Site are not covered by this privacy policy, and Company has no responsibility or liability for such advertisers or web sites' policies or actions.
How collected information is used?
We will use your information only as permitted by law. The information you provide will be used only in connection with the services you selected on the Site. We also use the collected information to enhance your visit and deliver more individualized content. Aggregated Information may occasionally be shared with our advertisers and business partners, but cannot be used to contact you individually. Personally identifiable data will not be shared with any external party or advertisers, unless express permission given by user (i.e. user chooses to receive information from one of our advertisers). If a user willingly gives their personally identifiable information to a third party while on our site (i.e. typing in email address on advertisement) then the Site is not responsible for the action or policies of the third party.
The Company may use personally identifiable information collected on ForSaleByTxt.com to communicate with you. There are two types of communication we may contact you about: Administrative and Promotional.
Administrative information may be updates regarding our Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions, processing e-commerce transactions and other topics we feel it is important for you to be aware of as a site user. To stop receiving these emails, you must email info@forsalebytxt.com to permanently close your ForSaleByTxt.com account (please use subject "Close my account" and send from the email address listed on the account).
Promotional information may include new products and services offered by ForSaleByTxt.com, sweepstakes and contests, newsletters, deals and other topics we think you might find of interest. These emails will include an opt-out within the body of the email that you can use to stop receiving these emails.
Lastly, personally identifiable data may be accessible to the public on the website. All listings require a valid address where potential buyers can see the item in person, as well as an email/phone number they can contact the seller at. Please be aware that the address requested in the "Add a Listing" process WILL be shown to any registered user who views details of your listing. To keep your personal information private, you can open a different email account or route your phone number through a third party redirect service. The address where mobile items (such as car, boat, etc) can be seen does not have to be your home - it can be where ever you have it parked the majority of the time. ForSaleByTxt.com holds no liability for the actions of users in connection with this posted information.
Who sees the collected information?
Your information may be shared with the Company's employees, agents, contractors or business partners, but only in connection with the provision of services and goods you have selected on the Site. As we continue to develop our business, we may sell, buy, merge or partner with other companies or businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets. Furthermore, we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the Site's Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law. Except as provided herein or in the event of a merger, consolidation, or sale of all or substantially all of Company's assets, we will not share any of your personally identifiable information with any third party without your permission.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, given the nature of the primary service offered by the Site, certain personally identifiable information submitted to the Site in connection with a property you desire to list on the Site will of course be displayed on the Site and available to anyone with access to the Internet. When using the Site to list an item, you will have an opportunity to see what information will appear on the Site before you authorize the listing to appear on the Site.
Please be careful and responsible online. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, on the Site or otherwise, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. While we strive to protect your information, the Company cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information through the transmission process and you do so at your own risk. Once an email address or telephone number is advertised it is public information.
You can request a copy of the individual information that Company has collected about you, correct factual inaccuracies in your information, remove personal information from Company's data bases and/or update your personal information by contacting us at info@forsalebytxt.com. However, removal of certain information may render the Company unable to provide you with the services or goods you desire.

Any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, including limitations on damages, venue, and application of the law of the State of Michigan.
